Student Assistant – Sales Team

Join a growing sales team at one of San Diego’s Top Workplaces! This is a fantastic opportunity for a student interested in pursuing a career in sales or marketing.

You will be part of a dynamic inside sales force dedicated to selling Cognella textbooks to professors across the country. Responsibilities include researching sales leads, setting up campaigns, modifying reports in our CRM system, and entering data into our order management and CRM systems. You will learn how to use the Microsoft suite, including mail merge, Excel, and Outlook, as well as how to use a CRM system to manage customers and marketing campaigns. There is also opportunity to assist with composing professional communication templates for email and phone correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Research sales leads
  • Prepare mail merge campaigns
  • Enter data into CRM and order management systems

Start Date: Immediate

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: This position is based out of our corporate office located in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, California. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
