In the following example, the author used sixteen images to create a collage. The combination of images does not render this an original work (remember, if you didn’t take or create the image, it isn’t original).
You must cite each image separately. In this example, you would provide information for 16 separate sources directly within your Image Log. Our licensing team will generate all image credit lines, and your production editor will either include them directly underneath the image where it appears in the chapter, or all together at the end of the chapter. For this reason, an in-text citation is not necessary for images.
