Example of dictation activity with instructions, audio buttons, and blanks to fill in.

 

Activity title: Dictation Activity – Ser y estar

Student instructions: Both ser and estar correspond to the English verb to be. However, in Spanish ser and estar represent a semantic difference. There are contexts in which only ser, or only estar can be used.

Listen to each sentence and determine the ser or estar verb being used.
