A writing prompts with feedback activity enables students to practice subjective editing or writing skills and still receive immediate feedback. For instance, students can be encouraged to edit or proofread shorter passages or respond in more depth to open-ended questions. After submitting their responses, they can review model answers or general explanations that correspond to each of the prompts. At the conclusion of the activity, they have the option to print their responses to save or submit separately for a grade.
Note:
- This activity is presented as practice only; it does not report to the gradebook or preserve students’ answers within the learning management system. Students may export their results, and you may have the option of requesting a separate assignment in which students upload proof of their work.
