FAQs

Can I use any video I make or find on the internet?

No, videos should follow our guidelines, which are outlined in Guidelines for Selection YouTube and Vimeo Videos. This ensures that we meet licensing restrictions and provide quality and viable content.

Can I make an original video interactive?

Yes! As long as it passes our licensing restrictions, we can add interactive elements to original videos. More on video selection and licensing can be found in Guidelines for Selection YouTube and Vimeo Videos.

Does Cognella develop the interactive content for me?

You and your project editor will work together to develop content. You will select the videos to be used, and our licensing team will check for any licensing restrictions. We ask that you provide the raw content for the assessment tools, writing the questions and answers, or the statements, and providing a timestamp where the content should be placed. Our team will place the questions in the video and make them available for the course. For more on the information we ask you provide in support of interactive videos, please peruse our Interactive Video Submission Template. For an example of an interactive video, view a sample.
