Quick Guide: Selecting and Recording Audio

Third-party and original audio clips support activities in which students may listen to foreign language discussions, interviews, podcasts, or pieces of music.

Notes

• We recommend audio clips primarily be included when they are essential to the subject matter (such as in a foreign language or music class).
• A course that contains audio content should include at least one other activity type.
• See additional notes below regarding third-party content sourced from Spotify.
  

Before developing any other content related to audio, please record your selected resources in the relevant audio log and submit the log(s) to your project editor. Note that Spotify resources are preapproved but still need to be logged for inclusion in Active Learning content.
