Cognella has an ongoing commitment to serve students and professors by providing reasonably priced educational materials for classroom use. Therefore, to keep the price of our books low for students, we do not offer direct monetary compensation to contributors.

However, to thank each contributor for his or her valuable part in the making of the book, after it publishes as a first edition, Cognella will provide a code that can be redeemed on our website for a free copy of the book. We can also provide contributors with:

• a packaged copy of the book’s cover and their chapter in PDF

• complete citation information for the contributor’s CV

• a non-expiring ebook copy

• Do you want us to provide a template for your authors?

• Do you want to include an “about the authors” section with brief biographical statements for each contributor that will appear in the book’s end matter?

• How and where will contributor names and/or credentials appear?

• Do you have a plan for what you will do if, for any reason, one of your contributors is not able to complete his or her work?
